Your favorite thing about redstone:

I really like the moment when a bunch of separate logic gates suddenly work together as a system—especially when you can compress it into a smaller, cleaner design.

A build you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge (This is your trial build):

4-bit Arithmetic Logic Unit (4t ALU)

Explain what your build does in detail:

This is a 4-bit ALU built with a 4-tick (4t) computation cycle. It supports basic arithmetic and logic operations including addition, subtraction, bitwise AND, OR, and XOR. The design uses a carry-lookahead structure for the adder portion to minimize propagation delay, keeping the whole operation within a 4-tick window. Inputs are fed through a register bank, and the operation mode is selected via a 3-bit opcode bus. Output is displayed on a 7-segment display or redstone lamp array depending on the mode. The entire circuit is tileable and uses repeaters for signal synchronization rather than comparators, keeping the footprint compact for its capability.
