Minecraft name:
Sir__Semltalot
What do you like the most about redstone?:
I love how seamlessly you can create a nearly infinite level of abstraction going all the way down to the absolute lowest level. Because the base components of redstone are so simple, you can say with 100% certainty that you understand how everything in a build works. And there’s virtually no limit to how you can piece those simple components together to create higher and higher levels of complexity. Minecraft makes that process so smooth that it almost feels like it isn’t there.
What’s a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?:
A calculatORE
What does the thing do?:
It does all four of the basic math functions on up to 3 digit integers (both positive and negative). For division, the calculator displays the answer rounded to the nearest thousandth, with a special case for division by 0.

What do you plan on making for your build trial?:
A 2 bit (tileable) ICA based ALU.
Do you agree with the rules?:
Yes
