Why you were banned (if known): Originally, punishment history and inflammatory/accusative content.
Why you should be pardoned: My ban was shortened in April of this year, over four months ago. It was reduced from indefinite to 1 year after the appeal. I had originally planned not to appeal again and just wait it out. One of the reasons I didn’t was because I was worried that an appeal could result in my ban being extended, not sure if that’s a thing, though.
Today, I heard someone talking about Redstone in a random Hypixel lobby, we talked and eventually they brought an online ORE member over to talk. We talked for around and hour and I realized how much I really do miss this server. I would love to be back a bit sooner to start working on my mega project, bit cruncher, again. I understand my ban is for very good reason and that my actions both on and off the platform hurt others.
I just thought it might be worth it to try. I believe that I have significantly changed since the time of my ban. I would like to provide some evidence of this. I now am a licensed amateur radio operator, I have a learner’s permit and only have a few hours of driving practice left before I can obtain a full license, I have began attending an actual school (unlike years before where I was only homeschooled), I have become a more skilled programmer and team member for my competitive robotics team, and I have worked on my friendships with others and now have a much greater understanding of socials norms and things which are acceptable, and that are not.
If the ban length stays the same, I will be unbanned in early April of 2027. I am sorry for my actions and would like to not only apologize directly to the people affected, but also rebuild relationships with them in order to learn and grow as a person. I promise to you that when I am allowed back, I will not make the same mistakes I did before. Thank you staff, for your time. I hope to see you soon.
