Hello I am SpryNebula, I suggest that we bring back the tabs surrounding the prefixes. (Example: [Builder], etc.)
You’re suggesting we add square brackets around ranks in chat?
So instead of
Builder | BuilderGuy29: hello
it’d be
[Builder] BuilderGuy29: hi
If so, personally I prefer how it looks now. I’d recommend encouraging other members of the community to voice their opinions on it.
If I get a free house I’m going to vote for ya ![]()
I prefer the current syntax
I personally think the one now is better, but it would be cool if a few others were explored as well.
Perhaps just making a poll is the best option then??

[<rank>] <name><rank> <name>
Note the current System is <rank> | <name>:
I like the [rank] only cause its easier for my dyslexia lol
Notice how BuilderGuy29 said a different thing with the tags enabled
The current system is not an option in this poll, but I assume it was meant to be the option that’s just got a space separating them.
Overall, the impression I’m getting is that there isn’t substantial interest in changing based on the replies here. Only a few (spry, slicudis, and capo) expressed interest in changing it, compared to the many others in here who either voiced support for the existing format or didn’t express any particular preference.
Yeah, Had a typo
Idk if editing it will remove votes though.
Don likes the idea
I prefer the current format. We still haven’t seen much more interest in the topic, but it could be worth mentioning at the next town hall.
