Builder Aplication Alnoruan 3

Have you read the Read Before Posting post?:

yes

Your favorite thing about redstone:

I like the freedom it gives the player.

A build you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge (This is your trial build):

4-Bit ALU

Explain what your build does in detail:

A 4-bit ALU in Minecraft performs arithmetic (add, subtract) and logic (AND, OR, XOR, NOT) on 4-bit numbers.
It uses redstone circuits with repeaters, comparators, and torches to process each bit.
Outputs include the 4-bit result and optional carry or zero flags.

What is the name of the warp for your build on ORE?:

Alnoruan_ALU_4bit

Are you sure this is a proper ALU and not 5 different circuits placed on top of each other?

Also, you don’t need to post a new app every time, you can just update / reply to this one.

Is there anything else I can do to be a builder other than a 4-bit ALU?

Maybe a multiplier, but if you already have an adder, making it into a sufficient ALU is a matter of adding 5 control lines.

And will a working analog clock work? Because I just built one.

I don’t think it shows sufficient computational redstone mechanics.

And what is a multiplier? Because if it’s easier, I’ll build one.

A circuit that multiplies (A⋅B).
Similliary, an adder is a circuit that adds (A+B).

Would building an 8-bit ALU work?

4 bit one is fine, the problem with your current one is, it looks like these are just all separate circuits for every operation with separate inputs / outputs. The proper ALU for builder trial is a modified adder, with one set of inputs and output, where certain control lines modify how the adder behaves (switches operation it performs).

Sorry, I didn’t read your message and I did the 8-bit one, is that okay?

Remember that during the trial you will be required to explain how every part of the ALU works, why the circuit works the way it does and why are the control lines needed.

But the trial will be by phone call or text message or something, because I’m embarrassed to do it by phone call and I don’t want to reveal my voice or identity.

Please don’t do it by voice; I’m very nervous.

And if possible, could the trial be between 11:30 and 14:00 Spanish time

If I give slow answers it’s because I’m Spanish and I need to put everything through a translator.

To verify, can this new ALU do ADD, SUB, OR, XOR, AND, NOR, XNOR + NAND?

Yes, the ALU can do it

Yay, your application has been accepted! Whenever both you and a staff member are free, feel free to ask them for a trial. You are able to try again after failing and waiting 24 hours with a maximun of 2 trials / 7 Days. It is always recommended to do a practice trial with another member before starting your real one.

Note: Im usually available from 14:00-19:00 CET ingame.
