Your favorite thing about redstone: its simplicity yet endless possibilities

A build you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge (This is your trial build): a very compact hexadecimal rom. 15 blocks/byte. (the one on the picture is 12x10x16 and 1024 bits.)

Explain what your build does in detail: you enter an address, and you get the data stored there out in hexadecimal. it is wallstone-based, so it can be stacked in every direction.

Your trial build is not sufficiently advanced. The bar for trial builds is at or above the level of a 4 Bit ALU. Please respond with a new build if/when you decide on one.

so i just made my first ALU. it has no repeaters and torches and i think it could be comparator-primed to be instant 10HZ. it takes 4 + 4 +3 bits (operand A + operand B + opcode) as input. it supports addition, subtraction, increase, decrease and XOR. it is a terrible design  so i am definitely going to make a new one when i am building my next CPU.

If you can run XNOR, AND, NAND, OR and NOR on it too you are good to go!

my new ALU takes 4+4+4 bits as input, and supports add, sub, inc, dec, XOR, XNOR, OR, NOR, AND and NAND. the main part is 8x8x18 in size and works with 2HZ. (this is only to show knowledge, i would never really use this)

Yay, your application has been accepted! Whenever both you and a staff member are free, feel free to ask them for a trial. You are able to try again after failing and waiting 24 hours with a maximun of 2 trials / 7 Days. It is always recommended to do a practice trial with another member before starting your real one.

Note: Im usually available from 14:00-19:00 CET ingame.
