so i just made my first ALU. it has no repeaters and torches and i think it could be comparator-primed to be instant 10HZ. it takes 4 + 4 +3 bits (operand A + operand B + opcode) as input. it supports addition, subtraction, increase, decrease and XOR. it is a terrible design so i am definitely going to make a new one when i am building my next CPU.
my new ALU takes 4+4+4 bits as input, and supports add, sub, inc, dec, XOR, XNOR, OR, NOR, AND and NAND. the main part is 8x8x18 in size and works with 2HZ. (this is only to show knowledge, i would never really use this)
