Hello! I am planning to submit an application to join the Build server, and I want to submit a unique trial build instead of another ALU.
My question is: Would an 8-bit square rooter be considered complex enough to meet the requirement?
Thanks.

Yeah, that should be sufficient. We generally accept ALUs, but sometimes we also get multipliers which are certainly a lower bar than performing square root.
