Minecraft name:
Buck4roo
What do you like the most about redstone?:
I like how redstone gives everyone who has minecraft the ability to experiment with logic gates without having to buy software for the equivalent online or the less user friendly alternative of coding with the basic binary logic gates. Redstone is very versatile, people use it to make everything from instant doors to 1hz cpu’s to AI and board games, all using the very limited and basic tools provided by redstone. All this versatility gives many paths for me to explore redstone, not limited to one subcategory, I can learn a little bit about all the types of redstone, which I find really interesting that so much can be made with so little.
What’s a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?:
I’ve built minesweeper at an incredibly small size at only 540 blocks per minesweeper cell.
What does the thing do?:
It features all of necessities for a good minesweeper experience. It features win detection, lose detection, 0-spread, automatic bomb set, automatic reset, and cell flagging, all while keeping it pretty fast and responsive.
Here are the specific redstone tick times for each circuit, (sorry I had to put them here I forgot to put them in the video):
Reset : 19 rt
Bomb set : 17 rt + Minecart timer for memory update, only 10 rt to update adjacent cells
Expose : 35 rt for full completion (send update to wd), only 22 rt to update the display
0-spread : 10 rt send, 4 rt receive
Lose detect (from btn press): 24.5 rt
Flag : 9 rt

What did you make as your trial build?:
Minesweeper.
What is the warp for your trial build?:
Sadly, the build is on another server because it has a few entities and a lot of containers that are hard to move to other servers.
Server: redstone-server.info (1.17- 1.20.4)
Warp: /to Buck4roo_Minesweeper
