What do you like the most about redstone?: Just that it is turing complete
What’s a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?: I started building a hexadecimal minecraft computer
What does the thing do?: calculates and workes with hexadecimal instead of binary
Image(s) and/or video(s) of the device: https://imgur.com/ZxvhyGQ https://imgur.com/9keJGCo There is more but I think that is already enough to show that I know how redstone works
What do you plan on making for your build trial?: I need to make an xor gate in hexadecimal anyway
Do you agree with the rules?: yes
What do you plan on making for your build trial?: I need to make an xor gate in hexadecimal anyway
Are you saying you plan to make a circuit which does Bitwise Hex XOR?
A circuit that does bitwise xor but with analog signals, probably need to hardcode the logic
Its the only part missing in my ALU atm
Your trial build is not sufficiently advanced. The bar for trial builds is at or above the level of a 4 Bit ALU. Please respond with a new build if/when you decide on one.
can I rebuild my whole ALU then. Its not finished, but I can show what I got
That’s fine, but keep in mind that you’d need to build it during the trial if that’s what you’re going with.
yes, when is the trail, and how much time do I have?
Trials can happen whenever both you and a staff member are online and available. Generally trials last from around 60 to 90 minutes.
I’m ready. Here is my current ALU: https://imgur.com/OLdDyTR
It will change ofc if I rebuild it.
This application has been accepted! Whenever both you and a staff member are free, feel free to ask them for a trial. You are able to try again after failing and waiting 24 hours. It is always recommended to do a practice trial with another member before starting your real one and to practice the questions found at ORE Binary Quiz to help prepare for some of the trial questions.
