Disable permissions for channel history in discord game chat

Requested Change:

  • prevent people from viewing message history in the discord game chat mirror
    Reasons for change:
  • no reason to have publicly searchable logs
  • peace of mind when chatting in minecraft
  • need to find a message? open your game logs that are stored in .minecraft and Ctrl+F.
    Reasons for no change (optional but recommended):
  • its easier to find on discord.

I’m at least interested in seriously considering this, though generally with petitions, staff as a whole looks for how interested the community is. I recommend seeing what other ORE members think and suggesting they comment here.

Is that even possible on DC? I though it was builtin

There’s a permission for channel history, so it’d just be disabled
