Here are some cases of fan using perms to simply be annoying. Taking ownership of Stevis plot, as well as setting Imated to testificate and leaving the server for so long that stack had to join to revert him back to builder. Also a screenshot of him claiming that hes never messed around with plot perms, days after he took ownership of stevis plot.
Here, fan was messing around with perms and imated asked for visitor, but then fan left him as visitor and testificate and left the game when his laptop died (he aknowledged that it was going to die and didnt think to revert imated back before it did even though there was plenty of time, and imated asked to be reverted so he could work on his cpu) so imated was stuck as testificate for a long period of time.
Although other staff members ban and kick people as a joke, fan tends to do it far more often, and randomly, not part of any ongoing joke, to the point where it is just an annoying and interruptive abuse of power.
Fan not moderating something enough that is very clearly worth more punishment than a temp ban, as the user persisted with the comments after the unban, which fan had seen himself and not acted on, and considering it goes against ORE rules, as it clearly shows someone being openly discriminatory towards queer people, it shows Fan not competently moderating a serious issue.
fan being a hypocrite when it comes to chad commands. multiple people did some chad commands (not that many though), and he joined in, and proceeded to tell people to chill.
Alex was in the #bot-commands channel trying to find the command to send him to the appeals page and fan told him off for spamming which seems like a bit of an overmoderation considering he wasnt doing it to spam, and was in the channel made to do bot commands where it wouldnt affect other peoples conversations.
fan overmoderating in #welcome when people including staff do talk and joke in there often.
Fan timed rz and his friend out for 24 hours, for talking in #welcome. his friend had trouble linking so him and Rz were talking in welcome but instead of giving his friend trust, asking them to stop, or move somewhere else, he timed out without warning, which is clearly an issue of overmoderating/overpunishing.
This one speaks for itself (i dont have anything other than this screenshot but im sure you can find it in staff logs)
Fan messed greifing someones build using world edit, and broke it when he undid the WE.
people have literally noticed it since he first got mod.
Heres fan trialing someone, asking them to explain what “base“ means as he didnt accept their answer for “why is it called base 2“ which was “each digit is in one of two states, on or off, whereas each digit in base 10 could be in 10 different states, 0-9“ which I and other people think is a perfectly acceptable answer. Also, this same trial lasted over 26 hours as fan left them testificate (you can see the timestamps)
Heres fan overmoderating people for saying “bomboclat”, as he thought it was some sort of slur by using the google ai overview, when it is simply profanity for shock or surprise, then when we educated him on what it meant, he threatened to ban people for saying it as its technically another language (its just a slang word), then when he realised that wouldnt work, he threatened to ban for spam. (all of which would just be a warning or timeout usually). He then threatened to ban or timeout people who reacted to his messages with skull emojis.
This is just the tip of the iceberg, with many others having spoken about fan being cruel with punishments, overmoderating, and abusing plot and role, timeout and ban perms as staff. As well as this, as seen in some of the screenshots here, when it comes to actually doing the duties of staff, such as trialing and moderating actual issues, Fan appears incompetent. These screenshots were gathered by multiple people, all who have had issues with fans moderation. Myself and others agree that this is not the sort of behaviour that helps a community like this thrive, and simply makes the experience as a whole, annoying, if not, unbearable.
