Holunderfan`s Builder application

Minecraft name:

Holunderfan

What do you like the most about redstone?:

It`s diversity and all the possibilities, primairly technical redstone and computational redstone.

What’s a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?:

I built a multibolt cargo station.

What does the thing do?:

It stores chest minecarts and counts them, the player can use the station to travel with the multibolt and the player can choose to send the carts with him, when the player uses that option halve of the chest minecarts will be sent infront of the player and the other halve behind the player. This is done by stacking the carts together and using an entity seperator to send the carts in order. The station also seperates player and chest minecarts from another and the chest minecarts will be stacked on a rail when arriving. It also has a reset for the minecart counter for the case that an uneven ammount of minecarts is inserted.

What did you make as your trial build?:

An 8 bit CPU with 8 commands, the ALU uses a CCA from Fire&Nikkeru due to space concerns and a 16 bit CCA for the program index. I also built a Program writer which contains multiple 16 bit CCA and one 8 bit CCA, these are built by me. Additionally I also included 2 memmory desings from me, one is used for RAM, the other one is more suited for the program writer and the ROM.

What is the warp for your trial build?:

HolunderfansTrialBuild

in such a trial, we tend to ask questions specifically about ALUs (or, if another type of component like a multiplier was submitted, about that) and go in-depth. I’ve understood that your ALU is incomplete for most logic operations and that the CPU isn’t wired up entirely, and therefore difficult to trial with. I recommend changing your trial build to a specific, smaller component by updating your post or commenting in this thread.

It is correct that the ALU doesnt support many operations, the CPU already comfirmed basic funtionality in a previously made testrun and every command was tested on its basic functionality too. I will build an ALU in the next few weeks and hopefully it will be more suited than my current trial build.
