Your favorite thing about redstone: I like building calcs (slang for calculators)
A build you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge (This is your trial build): 8 bit ALU
Explain what your build does in detail: It’s a standard 8 bit ALU, nothing too fancy. At its core, it’s an 8 bit adder, but it has additional control lines to allow for more operations. The adder design used is the very popular 5t CCA design, which was featured in Mattbatwings redstone tutorial series. One can input two 8 bit numbers A and B, and the ALU can perform Addition, Subtraction, as well as bitwise operations AND, NAND, OR, NOR, XOR, XNOR. It has an 8 bit output as well as an additional 9th bit, which can either represent an overflow for addition or the sign of a subtraction.
