Your favorite thing about redstone: I enjoy puzzles. Redstone building feels like solving puzzles with some creativity
A build you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge (This is your trial build): a 4-bit ALU with Cin, FC, !A, !B and XOR to OR
Explain what your build does in detail: it takes 3 binary inputs, runs A and B through an XOR gate and an AND gate at the same time, then takes the result of the XOR gate and ANDs it with the C(in) input, and displays the result (sum) as an output. The result of the first XOR gate is duplicated and ANDed together with the Cin, and the result of the final and the first AND gates are ORed together to produce a Cout, which becomes a Cin for the next bit. This is repeated 3 times to produce a 4-bit full adder. The control bits implement additional control over some of the previous operations to produce different, controlled results; the !B control bit, for instance, is used to subtract B from A.
