Narigin Builder Application (4wide, 8bit ALU from 3wide CCA)

Minecraft name: Narigin

What do you like the most about redstone?:My favorite thing is compacting circuits, sometimes in unconventional ways.

What’s a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?: An 8bit CCA of my own design. The base CCA is 3x16

**What does the thing do?: Adds numbers **

**Image(s) and/or video(s) of the device:

**

**What did you make as your trial build?: A 4wide ALU made from my 3wide CCA. There is a right shift function that goes outside of 4wide, however the remainder of it is. It has some “cursed” redstone as far as some people are concerned for computational redstone such as scaffolding, but it’s a work in progress and I think it can only get better.
**

What is the warp for your trial build?: /warp narigin

Hi @narigin, please expand on what operations your ALU can perform (List).

The ALU has the following control bits

  • !A
  • !B
  • XOR ↔ OR
  • Flood Carry
  • Carry In (CIN)
  • Rshift.

It can do the following operations, with (these control bits).

  • Addition (N/A)
  • Subtraction (!B & CIN)
  • XOR (Flood & !B)
  • XNOR (Flood)
  • OR (xor<->or)
  • NOR (xor<->or, Flood)
  • AND (!A, !B, FC, xor<->or)
  • NAND (!A, !B, xor<->or)
  • Right Shift (Rshift)

Yay, your application has been accepted! Whenever both you and a staff member are free, feel free to ask them for a trial. You are able to try again after failing and waiting 24 hours with a maximun of 2 trials / 7 Days. It is always recommended to do a practice trial with another member before starting your real one.

Note: Im usually available from 14:00-19:00 CET ingame.
