What do you like the most about redstone?:
I love that such complex behavior can arise from simple blocks. Just like how real computers with incredible calculative and data storage capabilities are made from simple logic, with 0s and 1s.
What’s a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?:
I made a processing unit that uses an alu made from a cca adder, and 32 bits of memory for storage.
What does the thing do?:
It has Flood Carry, OR, and Cin capabilities. It can store the calculated results of the alu in memory. I have 4 possible 8 bit numbers to store in memory, 32 bits total. I can reset all memory to 0 with a button as well.

What do you plan on making for your build trial?:
A 4 bit ripple carry alu with addition, and subtraction, carry flooder, carry in, and input inverter.
