What’s Redstone Month?
During September, ORE wants to celebrate our community and the incredible builds they create.
Why September?
I picked it at random a few months ago.
All holidays are arbitrary anyway, so why not one to have fun with the hobby we all share?
What’s going to happen?
Over the course of the month, we’ll have a set of competitions run by Waffle (Wueffi) which gradually build a Simon Game.
The full details can be found in his announcement post in the #events channel on Discord, but a quick summary is as follows:
- Up to 5 members per team
- The build is done in parts with the competitions building on the previous
- You aren’t required to participate in all of them
- Each competition lasts a bit under 1 week
Anything else?
Yes! We’ll also be doing a couple minor things here and there to give people smaller ways to enjoy Redstone Month.
Lessons
During some weekends there will be some lessons hosted by different ORE members on various topics.
Some focused on rank progression and others on things that are just plain cool to learn.

Trial Availability
During the weekends, some staff and Engineers have committed to taking on a few additional trials where they can.
If you still need to get yours out of the way, then this is a great opportunity to get things squared away.
The Spirit of Redstone Month
In general, try to be kind, helpful, and supportive to others.
While this is always good advice, it is especially important to keep in the spirit of Redstone Month.
- Help the new members learn the basics
- Check out someone’s build if they want to show it off
- Work with someone to fix an issue they’re having
- Start a cool new project with some friends
- Find ways to help with contributor projects
There’s no award or anything for keeping with the spirit of Redstone Month, but we hope you’ll do it to make our community the best space it can be.
