Rub1k Appeal

Mojang Name: Cub0R3_Rub1K5
When you were banned (approximately): April 14/15, 2026
Why you were banned (if known): Spamming minecarts on play, requiring staff intervention to fix(Rule 8)

Why you should be pardoned: I was on play, experimenting with water particle launchers using minecarts. After a few minutes, I had spammed a lot of minecarts into 1 rail, creating a lot of lag. I was starting to have problems, so I made the wrong decision to go back to /build without notifying staff that I had created a lot of lag. This is when rule 8 came in. Jacklak and FrogMakesScripts joined play and started to have problems. Jacklak reported and I got banned for 1 month. I would really appreciate if the ban is reduced or removed

I want to make it clear that spamming minecarts is not creating a “lag machine”. You can very much get to the point that there are too many minecarts for one to interact with the server, requiring intervention to fix. A “lag machine” would be something that you can toggle that creates said lag without using entities, as many entities can cause problems, such as here.

The following is a message from me and not staff as a whole.

Sorry, I might be missing something here. It just seems like you’ve outlined the incident and provided no real reason for us to unban you or evidence that it won’t happen again. What does this add compared to the previous appeal? Why would we feel compelled to overturn the ban if the information provided is facts we already have? Your explanation of the incident reflects the same thing as our internal reports. Simply stating what you did and submitting an appeal isn’t going to do much with regards to an unban or ban reduction.

Don’t post on someone else’s appeal. Make your own post instead.

Then I’m really sorry and I won’t do that again. If I would, I would do it in singleplayer

Our internal vote has already ended for what was included initially. Your ban length will remain the same and we’d like you to wait some time before posting another appeal.
