Hello ORE,
Nothing I’ve done here has ever been with ill-intent. From the time when I was elected, until now, I’ve tried my hardest to do good for this community. However, in light of some recent exhibitions of frustration from many of you, it’s painfully clear to me that I was quite unsuccessful with this goal. I was unaware that what I thought to be light-hearted joking and playing around came across quite differently, and from the bottom of my heart, I’m so very sorry to all of you. It was never my intention to hurt any of you the way I did, and reading through these things from your perspectives had me on the verge of tears of regret for not seeing how my actions affected you all.
I also feel like I’ve become far too detached from the community. I was elected right after a 3 month hiatus, and throughout my time I’ve been far too busy with life to properly engage with you guys. I’ve also been fairly ineffective at my duties as a mod, mainly due to a mixture of inexperience and lack of time.
With this being said, I think that it’s best for me, and more importantly all of you, that I step down. I hope to spend more time in the ORE community being a positive contribution and actually engaging with those who make up one of the most important parts of my life.
I’m hoping that one day you all can forgive me, but for now please know that I do understand your anger and I will do whatever I can to try to make up for what I’ve done.
