This is the aplication of the builder rank

Minecraft Username: DevCrab

Have you read the Read Before Posting post?: Yes I have read it and a am going to be I nice and good builder not I toxic builder.

Your favorite thing about redstone: My favorit thing of redstone is to make displays and piston doors becouse I am a crativ guy and like that type of things. It is one thing that I am starting to like and that is to make games with redstone.

A build you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge (This is your trial build): I have build 7 dis-players smile dis-players that can be sad and happy. A made my biggest project jet and it is a BIG X O a like how it turn out a youst need world edit to copy and paste some parts. I made all the gates of redstone and a started with flappy bird but it is not grate yet. I made piston doors bout not in this server.

Explain what your build does in detail: My X O is a big screen with I big redstoen thing in the back of it. Where the players are is 2 different squares one for X and one for O. If you flip a lever of the place on the square it is going to chane the same place on the screen. That is for all the X and O. Then the 7 displayer it has I gate that take the information it need for making the number and for it to take the information I yous a redstone torch. Then if you flip a lever of exampel 5 it is going to make a 5 on the displayer. Same for the smiley face.

Images / videos of the build: Here is the picture of the X O:
a cant send the pcitrues

and here is the displayer:

and the last here is for the gates:

What is the name of the warp for your build on ORE?: I right nowe a am on the school.

Thank you for applying!
Before I accept your application, I have a few things to ask.

  • When you reply with these next few things, can you please take a little more time and focus on spelling and grammar? feel free to look up words of you need, but this sort of application shouldn’t be rushed and it’s hard to understand you at times.
  • The goal of this section is to explain in detail how the redstone works. If you can please provide some greater detail, that will help me figure out of this build meets requirements or not.
  • Picture(s) are a requirement for the same reason above. Please reply back with at least one picture of your build. If you are seeing an error with the site, please explain what the error is so I can help you.
  • Lastly, we do require a warp. You can do this by looking at your build, and typing /createwarp <your username>>

Thank you!

Unfortunately this build does not meet our requirements for builder.
Generally we need a 4 bit RCA ALU or above.
When you have this, please reply with an additional photo of it, and a description of what it is and how it works. Then also please make a warp for it.
Thank you!

what is a 4 bit RCA ALU is it a alu that has 4 alu and connect together

done the 4 alu

Can you please provide a description, explanation, and a warp?

THIS IS 4 Arimthmetic logic unit

You’ll need more than that, can you give me details on what operations it can do? And how it works?

Arithmetic

Add:A + B
Subtract: A - B (with 2’s complement: NOT B + 1)

Logic

AND: A & B
OR: A | B
XOR: A ^ B
*NOT A: ~A

Controls (Levers)

Select operation (ADD, AND, OR, XOR, etc.)
Toggle B inversion (for NOT/subtraction)
Toggle carry-in (for subtraction)

How It Works

  1. Inputs:

A and B = 4-bit binary (4 Redstone lines each)
Set via levers or Redstone memory

  1. Logic Gates:

Built from torches, dust, repeaters
AND, OR, XOR, NOT for each bit

  1. Adder (Ripple Carry):

XOR for sum, AND for carry
Carries ripple from bit 0 → 3

  1. Subtraction:

Invert B with NOTs
Add 1 via carry-in

  1. MUX (Selector):

Chooses final result
Controlled by 2-bit input (levers)

Output

4-bit binary (lamps or wires)
Optional: Binary-to-decimal display

A few things:

  1. The screenshot you provided shows an RCA, not an ALU. Please correct this in a reply.

  2. Generally we try to avoid ALUs which use a Mux Selector if we can, try a design which doesn’t use one.

  3. It’s not clear what “Controlled by 2-bit input (levers)” refers to. The selector for the different operations would require more bits than that and I’m not sure any part of the ALU requires a 2 bit input.

  4. You mention “Optional: Binary-to-decimal display” which makes me suspect this is copied from somewhere, since your build should either include it or not. This isn’t allowed and I would discourage something like that in future replies.

Please reply with:

  • The correct screenshots of your build
  • An updated description to address the issues I’ve identified here

the screenshot is from me a took it today and and the addres is in the last lines of my aplication

it is an alu

I don’t doubt that you took the screenshot, the issue is that the build is an RCA not an ALU like you claimed. An RCA is not sufficient for Builder.

I’m not sure what you mean here

No, the image provided shows an RCA, which is an Adder, not an ALU. I was on your plot and reviewed the build myself.

gowe to yt and seatch how to amek an alu with redsotne minecraft

If you’re having trouble understanding what is and isn’t an ALU, then I’d suggest taking the time to learn more before applying for Builder. Closing this application.
