WoodComet's Builder Application

Minecraft name: WoodComet

What do you like the most about redstone?: I like how it scratches the compute science itch without looking at text all day

What’s a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?: I have made multiple ALU’s using both all original designs and popular ones from the redstone community.

What does the thing do?: Although they all serve the purpose of an ALU, they have all been made with different design principals.

Image(s) and/or video(s) of the device:
Most recent 4-Bit ALU using a recommended cancel carry adder design: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/824803382535127060/1018533651555831929/unknown.png
An older device that makes use of 8 8-Bit Caches for convenience: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/684755265102544929/931281821801521222/unknown.png
The predecessor to the above but built on the lowest possible level of abstraction with all real circuit diagrams: Had to take out this link it wouldn’t let me use more than two.

What do you plan on making for your build trial?: I plan on making a 4-Bit ALU which can add, subtract, and XOR.

Do you agree with the rules?: Yes

Generally we require trial ALUs to be able to Add, Subtract, and perform Bitwise Operations (OR, NOR, AND, NAND, XOR, XNOR).

That works, nothing I haven’t done before

This application has been accepted! Whenever both you and a staff member are free, feel free to ask them for a trial. You are able to try again after failing and waiting 24 hours. It is always recommended to do a practice trial with another member before starting your real one.
