I’ll have to start by saying: please don’t respond to this unless you’re a staff member, as doing so could spiral this post out of control and turn it into a mess.
Overview
On March 30, 2026, the Moderation Team made a decision to serve a punishment, being a half-year ban from both the Minecraft server and the Discord server, following a long and heated back-and-forth argument between myself and a team of 10 players. Punishment definitely makes sense, but naturally, I’d want to ask why the other players were not found to be at fault, and providing reasons as to why I think justification is not fair.
This isn’t meant to be a report or an appeal, it’s just a question.
Justification
It definitely makes sense that I was issued a long punishment, but it does not make sense that neither of the other players were issued a punishment. Let me go over why I think that’s the case.
So, let’s take a look at the response from the Moderator. The reason I was issued a long punishment was, quote:
given that you started the situations again and again
True, but was I the only one starting the fire over and over again? - not really.
So, let’s start by saying, while I was at fault, I’m not the only one at fault. I’ve repeatedly quit some arguments, with messages such as:
I’m not wrestling with this nonsense.
or:
im going back to do my own work
byeee
while the other players have never made a chance to stop the argument, and only kept arguing, even while I was offline.
I do argue sometimes when I think something is unjustified, but I myself don’t really like arguing when it’s heated and often take measures to try and quit it myself.
Moreover, I’ve once posted a funny joke in #lounge, but never mentioned anyone. So, it makes no sense that the bullies will not intervene, right? Wrong. There were over a staggering 21(!) messages all responding and mocking me for that joke that I’ve literally deleted around 5 minutes after posting, and I haven’t responded to neither of them. That situation should stop, right? Wrong again. Now the bullies have went outside the scope of Discord and crossed into Discourse, where they began mocking me there too, even though I didn’t touch them.
You are now seeing a clear situation: I’ve took multiple measures to stop arguments, yet they didn’t. In addition, I’ve just ignored them, but they didn’t. And I’m the one found to be at fault for this whole random nonsense. Which I’m, again, not saying that I’m right, but I’m not saying that they’re right either. The punishment does not correctly weigh across all parties involved in the incident.
From then on, there were two parties that I have never seen before - neither in Discord nor in game. They don’t know me, and neither do I know them. It was the first time they’ve seen me say anything. Well, they’ve went straight to mocking. That makes no sense again - they have never seen me do anything before, and yet the first impression is mocking, which, is, again, not justified.
Two of these players have also made measures to mock my punishment, essentially asking for the situation to start again. For example, one Moderator responded with “imagine” while responding to a screenshot of my 6-month punishment, and one player also mocked it indirectly here.
And finally, to top it off, let’s not forget - staff have issued warnings to quit bullying over 5 times to these players, yet those warnings didn’t influence anything for neither of them. I was the only one victim of the bullying, and now I’m being banned and they’re not.
Conclusion
To me, it doesn’t make sense that I, as a victim, would receive a long punishment, while they wouldn’t. Please let me know how this decision was justified so I can improve, and happy Easter! ![]()
